Early Warning Europe Day. Keeping SMEs resilient in uncertain times

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) invites to an international event Early Warning Europe Day: Keeping SMEs resilient in uncertain times, held under the honorary patronage of the SME Ombudsman, Ms. Agnieszka Majewska.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences between institutions implementing support for struggling companies through mentoring, using the early warning model in EU countries.

We will discuss the opportunities and threats facing entrepreneurs in light of ongoing economic and social changes. Minister Agnieszka Majewska will be our special guest and will present 14 key proposals of simplification measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in Poland. We will also review the achievements of the Polish presidency in the Council of the European Union in this area and take a closer look at the European Commission’s initiatives aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the European economy.

Early Warning Europe Day is also a meeting of organizations associated within the Early Warning Europe Network (EWEUN). Poland is represented in this network by two organizations – PARP and the Family Business Foundation. Both organizations share experience in implementing the Early Warning Europe project as part of an international consortium, which started to support entrepreneurs facing temporary difficulties, using mentoring as a method. The Family Business Foundation continues to offer mentor support to companies in crisis as part of its activities.

The EWEUN association was established in 2021 and currently includes 35 partner institutions from 17 EU countries. The mission of the Early Warning Europe Network is to support entrepreneurship and give businesses a second chance. The event aligns with the objectives of Article 3 of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2019/1023 of 20 June 2019.

The event will be attended by national coordinators of SME support programs under the early warning mechanism, mentors working with entrepreneurs, representatives of European institutions and researchers. We welcome all stakeholders and anyone interested in entrepreneurship and business support.

The hybrid event will be held in English. Participants can attend in-person or online. The number of places at the in-person meeting is limited. Participants will receive separate confirmation. Participation is free of charge.

The meeting is organized as a part of the project “Mentoring for companies in difficulty as a method of improving entrepreneurial skills” co-financed by European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS.01.03-IP.09-0041/23).

Polska Agencja Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości zaprasza na międzynarodowe wydarzenie pt. Early Warning Europe Day. Keeping SMEs resilient in uncertain times organizowane pod patronatem honorowym Rzecznika MŚP Pani Agnieszki Majewskiej.

Spotkanie będzie okazją do wymiany doświadczeń instytucji wdrażających wsparcie dla firm w trudnościach metodą mentoringu, z wykorzystaniem modelu early warning w krajach UE.

Będziemy rozmawiać o szansach i zagrożeniach dla przedsiębiorców w obliczu aktualnych zmian gospodarczo-społecznych. Gościem specjalnym będzie Pani Minister Agnieszka Majewska, która przedstawi 14 postulatów regulacyjnych będących odpowiedzią na realne potrzeby sektora MŚP w Polsce. Podsumowane zostaną także osiągniecia polskiej prezydencji w Radzie Unii Europejskiej w tym obszarze. Przyjrzymy się też działaniom Komisji Europejskiej, które mają prowadzić do wzrostu konkurencyjności gospodarki europejskiej.

Early Warning Europe Day to także spotkanie organizacji zrzeszonych w Stowarzyszeniu Early Warning Europe Network (EWEUN). Polskę w tym stowarzyszeniu reprezentują dwie organizacje -  PARP oraz Fundacja Firmy Rodzinne. Obie organizacje łączy wspólne doświadczenie w realizacji projektu pn.: Early Warning Europe w konsorcjum międzynarodowym, które zapoczątkowano zorganizowane działania na rzecz przedsiębiorców borykających się z okresowymi trudnościami i stosowanie w tym celu metody mentoringu. Fundacja Firmy Rodzinne, w ramach swojej działalności do dziś oferuje wsparcie mentorów dla firm w kryzysie. 

Stowarzyszenie EWEUN zostało powołane w 2021 r., obecnie liczy 35 instytucji partnerskich z 17 krajów Unii Europejskiej. Misją Early Warning Europe Network jest promowanie przedsiębiorczości i drugiej szansy. Wydarzenie wpisuje się w realizację celów artykułu 3 dyrektywy Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady 2019/1023 z dnia 20 czerwca 2019 r.

W spotkaniu wezmą udział koordynatorzy krajowi programów wsparcia przedsiębiorców w ramach mechanizmu early warning, mentorzy pracujący z przedsiębiorcami, przedstawiciele instytucji europejskich i badacze. Zapraszamy interesariuszy działających na rzecz rozwoju przedsiębiorczości oraz wszystkie osoby zainteresowane podejmowanymi przez nas działaniami. 

Wydarzenie prowadzone będzie w języku angielskim w formule hybrydowej – stacjonarnie oraz online. Liczba miejsc na spotkaniu stacjonarnym jest ograniczona. Uczestnicy otrzymają odrębne potwierdzenie. Udział w wydarzeniu jest bezpłatny.

Spotkanie jest realizowane w ramach projektu pn.: „Mentoring dla firm w trudnościach jako metoda podnoszenia kompetencji przedsiębiorczych” (FERS.01.03-IP.09-0041/23).
